An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specialized in Cath Lab procedures to support cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional care. This contract position is based in Selma, NC, and involves collaborating closely with physicians to capture high-quality digital radiographic images of the heart and peripheral vessels. The role demands expertise in operating sophisticated cath lab equipment as well as a strong commitment to patient safety and procedural accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Manage radiographic equipment to acquire precise imaging, setting appropriate x-ray parameters for cardiac and peripheral assessments. - Assist physicians by panning radiographic tables to visualize targeted anatomical structures effectively. - Execute daily preparation, quality control, and maintenance of cath lab rooms and equipment. - Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. - Document patient data meticulously across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy for records and charge entry. - Deliver attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures, including sterile preparation and administration of injectable fluids under supervision. - Operate and troubleshoot devices such as IVUS, Combo Map, ICE, and HeartLab systems. - Participate in training or mentorship of staff as assigned. Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Proven experience and technical proficiency in cardiac catheterization lab imaging and hemodynamics. - Knowledge of diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral cath procedures and related devices. - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic clinical environment. - Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and infection control practices. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation.
