More about our team Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is proud to offer a dynamic and supportive environment for healthcare professionals. Our 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides care for a diverse patient population - from ventilated patients to overflow cases. Nurses in our ICU unit typically enjoy 12 hr. shifts with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, with occasional 1:3 ratios depending on patient acuity, allowing for focused and high-quality care. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse who excels in this role: - Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs - Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions - Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient - Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record - Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient What we're looking for Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. Additional requirements include: - Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire - ACLS is required within 90 days of hire - Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred) - One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred More about Central Carolina Hospital Central Carolina Hospital is a 137-bed acute care hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Lee County community for over 115 years.
