Seeking a Fellowship trained, BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Greenville, NC. Highlights: - Full-time, employed position - The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor - Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available - Provide direct clinical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings - Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research - Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system - State-of-the-art Behavioral Health facility to open in the fall of 2025 - Inpatient clinical responsibilities will be for consults only on the current 50 bed inpatient behavioral health unit - Outpatient clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients at the outpatient clinic and the Geriatric Center - Monday-Friday 8a 5p schedule - Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities - Work with growing, multi-disciplinary, and collegial department - Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background Comprehensive Benefits Including: - Relocation Assistance - Vacation - CME Days & Reimbursement - Malpractice (with tail) - 401k - Insurance - State Benefits - Disability - Life Insurance - Opportunities exist for student loan repayment The Community: Living in Greenville, NC provides a perfect blend of small-town charm and modern conveniences.
