Job Description Locums | Urgent Care (NP/PA) | Outpatient | Kinston, NC Why This Role Ongoing urgent care coverage with multiple shifts available Outpatient only, no call required Steady patient flow with diverse urgent care cases Lives within 65-mile radius of sites Requirements Board Certified NP or PA (NCCPA / NP Boards) Active NC license Minimum 12 months urgent care / acute care / EM experience (no new grads) BLS required Proficiency in Epic (must use EMR for all visits) Strong soft skills to work independently as sole provider Local candidates Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage: No call, outpatient only EMR: Epic Clinical Details Setting: Urgent Care center Schedule: Full shifts, provider is sole clinician on-site Patients Per Shift: Avg. 30 (up to 40) Support Staff: Center Manager, MA, PSA; Supervising physician offsite Cases: Adult pediatric urgent care Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures Compensation Rate (capped): $85/hr Malpractice: Provided Travel: Mileage reimbursed
