HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of Ortho Medsurg RN at our esteemed facility. This role is pivotal in providing exemplary care for our orthopedic and medical-surgical patients through a compassionate, dedicated approach aligned with our mission to improve human life. The Ortho Medsurg RN will coordinate patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and uphold the standards of safety and effectiveness synonymous with HCA Healthcare. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate treatments. Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Ensure adherence to HCA's standards of care and operational policies. Participate in educational programs to enhance nursing knowledge and skills. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting Proficiency in managing orthopedic patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Detailed knowledge of infection control practices and rehabilitation Proficient in using healthcare software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
