Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an exciting locum tenens
assignment at a newly renovated emergency department in
Kenansville, North Carolina . This flexible opportunity offers a
robust shift calendar for APPs comfortable with a fast-paced
clinical setting and a full scope of emergency medicine. Join a

EPIC EMR platform and newly expanded fast-track capabilities.

Community Hospital ED Beds: 15 (Newly Renovated) Start Date: August
2025 – Ongoing Travel & Lodging: Provided EMR System: EPIC Schedule
Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM August 1, 2, 29 Swing Shift: 1:00 PM
– 1:00 AM August 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22,
23, 30 Shift Type: Evenings & Swings | Block Scheduling Available
Facility Overview Annual ED Volume: ~27,000 (Approx. 63 visits/day)
Average Admissions: 11/day Inpatient Census: 47 Acute | 24
Behavioral Health ICU/Critical Care Duties: Yes Fast Track: 12-Hour
Minor Emergency Section Operational Daily Position Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient
population Manage acute presentations and assist with admissions
Collaborate closely with ED physicians, hospitalists, and nursing
staff Perform standard emergency medicine procedures Participate in
codes and rapid response activations Candidate Requirements
License: Active North Carolina NP or PA License Certifications:
ACLS, ATLS, PALS (All Required) Experience: Prior Emergency
Medicine APP experience required Other: Ability to manage
