Requirement Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in
the MS/Tele specialty. This role involves providing specialized
care for patients in inpatient rehabilitation. The nurse will work
three 12-hour night shifts per week. Every third weekend and
holidays as needed are required. Floating between facilities may
occur based on patient needs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
Experience in acute care rehabilitation is preferred. The role
includes interpreting laboratory results and medication
reconciliation. The nurse will also perform dressing changes and
set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays. Phlebotomy skills are
required, including various lab specimen collections. Telephone
triage and managing pharmacy call requests will be part of the
duties. The patient population consists of adults and geriatric
individuals requiring rehabilitation. Diagnoses will include
cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal
cord injuries. The nursing team collaborates with interdisciplinary
support services, including respiratory services and social
services. It is essential that candidates are aware of the EKG exam
requirement and are prepared to take it. Compliance with all
requirements is crucial prior to starting the assignment. Study
