Registered Nurse Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: RadGov, Inc Pay: $1800-$1970/week / For local :$51 Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Location: Wilmington, NC Assignment: 13 Weeks | Night 3x12-Hour Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Pay Package Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $929.60 Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,044.00 Weekly Overtime Pay (Taxable) $0.00 Weekly Gross $1,973.60 Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 YR Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Team, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Accessing Ports, Insulin, CVA, Surgical drains, Interpretation of ABGs, Trachesotomy Management, EPIC JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:5-6 Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. 13-26 weeks Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed RTO: 7 days MAX; Floating Requirement: Floating required Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract PATIENT DIAGNOSES: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVID SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff) UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: based on unit needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
