Avid is hiring Caregivers - CNAs and PCAs as paraprofessional members of our client care team to provide selected personal care services and limited related household tasks as part of the client’s plan of care. We serve clients in 20 counties, including, but not limited to: Wake, Brunswick, New Hanover, Onslow, Cumberland, Columbus, Carteret, Guilford, Pender, Sampson, and Duplin. We have a stable client census with consistent assignments and hours, offering you the ability to work one on one with patients and their caregivers long-term. Caregivers - CNAs and PCAs Responsibilities Help clients take prescribed medication Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients with physical therapy exercises Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as a caregiver Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent Benefits Competitive experience-based pay DAILY PAY (TapCheck Daily Pay Option Available) One week full vacation (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement and continued education Performance-based increases and bonuses 401k WITH a 4% company match program Paid holiday premiums (double pay) $$$ Mileage Reimbursement Paid in-house and continuous training Mentoring and on-going support by experienced caregivers and leaders Growth opportunities Consistent scheduling to work with everyone’s schedules and location preferences Referral (up to $2,500 per referral) & performance-based bonuses Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift On call Overnight shift Overtime Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: Still actively keeping our caregivers and clients safe.
