Turn on the news on any night of the week and you're likely to hear

customers. You'll take as many as 50-70 calls per day from
customers who have questions about their health benefits. As they
advocate, you'll use your personality and our tools to help them
through the health care benefits available to them, including
helping them enroll in a new plan. This is no small opportunity.

This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday.
Employees are required to work the shift schedule of -11:30 EST-
8:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given business need, to work
occasionally overtime or weekends. Occasionally you may need to
report to the office as needed. - Our office is located at 3803
North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC, 27455. -
We offer 18 weeks of training. The hours of training will be
-8:30-5:00 pm -EST from Monday - Friday. -Training will be
conducted virtually from your home. -
If you are located in Greensboro, NC, you will have the flexibility
to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities: -
Respond to and resolve, on the first call, customer service
inquires and issues by identifying the topic and type of assistance
the caller needs such as benefits, eligibility and claims,
financial spending accounts and correspondence -
Help guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and
benefits of consumer-driven health care topics to select the best
benefit plan options, maximize the value of their health plan
benefits and choose a quality care provider -
Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer
to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal
specialists for assistance -
Assist customers in navigating myuhc.com and other UnitedHealth
Group websites and encourage and reassure them to become
self-sufficient -
This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll be called on
to research complex issues pertaining to the caller's health,
status, and potential plan options. To do this, you'll need to
navigate across multiple databases which require fluency in
computer navigation and toggling while confidently and
compassionately engaging with the caller. -

Qualifications: -
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience -
Must be 18 years of age OR older -
6+ months of customer service experience -
Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, which
includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system
applications -
Ability to work any shift between the hours of -11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
EST -from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work
occasional overtime and weekends based on business need.
Occasionally you may need to report to the office as needed . -

Health Care / Insurance environment (familiarity with medical
terminology, health plan documents, OR benefit plan design) -
Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health
promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable
populations) -

Reside within at 3803 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC, 27455.

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is
separated from other living areas and provides information
privacy.
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group
approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing
high-speed internet service.

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based
on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including
but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,
certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum
wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth
