Job Description:
Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced
and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to lead our
housekeeping and laundry teams in a long?term care facility. This
role ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our
residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate has strong
leadership skills, a working knowledge of healthcare cleaning
standards, and a passion for supporting resident care.
Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping and
laundry staff Ensure all resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas,
and facility spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including
infection control and OSHA guidelines Conduct quality inspections
and follow up on any deficiencies Oversee linen and laundry
operations, including inventory and distribution Maintain supply
inventory and order products as needed Ensure proper use and
maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals Collaborate with
Nursing and other departments to support resident needs Address
resident or family concerns related to environmental services
Participate in safety meetings, audits, and emergency preparedness
activities Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2
years of housekeeping experience in healthcare or long?term care
preferred 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience required
Knowledge of infection prevention, sanitation procedures, and
safety practices Strong communication, leadership, and
organizational skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform
physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended
