As a Cook, you will contribute to meal preparation, menu development, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. - Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen staff in menu planning and recipe development. - Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines. - Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies, receiving shipments, and monitoring stock levels. - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food items. - Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. - Monitor and control food waste and portion sizes to minimize costs. - Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed. - Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
