Job Description:

SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Office is committed to providing customer-focused services and innovative solutions within a fast-paced team environment. Under general direction, performs a variety of administrative duties to support recruitment, staffing, data management, employee recognition, and employee relations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Staffing
Prepare and coordinate job announcements in newspaper, website, jobline etc
Creates decision matrix by reviewing applicant qualifications
Maintains applicant flow log
Schedule applicant interviews
Coordinates applicant drug testing and background checks
Respond to requests concerning job openings
Supply reference and reference check form
Create employee file and assure completion of pre-hire requirements
Register new employees for computer training
Distributes candidate rejection letters
Send electronic reminders for orientation and termed employees
Process orientation paperwork

2. Personnel Data Management

Input status changes into personnel database
Track certifications, BLS, ACLS and TB testing records
Sends electronic reminders to managers with upcoming performance evaluations
Accurately input merit and pay increases into database
Utilize personnel data to complete government surveys
Assist staff with requests for personnel information

3. Employee Recognition

Coordinate employee recognition events such as: Thanksgiving, Halloween Party, Annual Recognition, and other clinic socials.
Distribute anniversary paperwork to enable employees to choose longevity anniversary gifts

4. Preceptor Program

Contact department managers to get approval for preceptors
Conduct preceptor orientation
Communicate preceptor requirements to program coordinator
Maintain student records through completion of rotations
Provide any information/updates to instructors concerning students performance

5. Service

Respond to service requests through the work order system in a timely manner
Serve on teams and tasks forces to improve organizational performance

6. General Administrative Duties

Create badges for new employees with appropriate security access Pursuit of personal professional development
Maintain clinic bulletin boards in breakrooms
Other projects as assigned by Human Resources Director
Attend team meetings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years degree or equivalent.
Types 65 WPM
Microsoft Office Suite: intermediate skill level
Ability to produce written documents that are grammatically correct and punctuated properly.
