SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT At GDIT, people are our differentiator.
As a systems engineer advisor you will perform design of server and
application architectures. Performs the administrative operation
and maintenance of server hardware and software. Maintains system
security and executes practices and procedures; monitors usage
statistics and logs; monitors and remedies attempts to penetrate or
corrupt server files. Provide technical support for Enterprise
level systems and services; from planning & design through
deployment. These efforts include the full range of systems
infrastructure engineering design; enterprise architecture
standards; prototyping; integration; including; but not limited to;
concept development; planning; requirements definition and
analysis; systems design; integration; and deployment. WHAT YOU’LL
NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in
relevant field Required Experience: 5 years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Strong Experience of
automation/orchestration utilizing PowerShell and Git Advanced
understanding of modern server/workstation operating systems and
network technologies sufficient to automate associated processes –
Windows / RHEL Ability to use a wide variety of opensource
technologies and cloud services (i.e. Azure, AWS) Integration of
Git, in continuous integration, continuous deployment Working
knowledge of the networking stack (VLAN, subnets, ports, firewalls,
routing and switching) Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP
and other TCP/IP protocols and services in support of the
virtualization and storage technologies Strong Communications
skills required Must be able to work individually and as part of a
team Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Required Location: On

$112,200 - $151,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on
experience, geographic location and possibly contractual
requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly
