Handles and develops strategy for Personal Injury cases. Ability to work in a team oriented and collaborative environment. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations for clients. Examines legal and medical data to determine insurance coverage, liability, damages, and overall strategy. Conducts research, guides clients, and handles details in preparation for case-related events. Develops settlement brochures, strategies, and arguments in preparation for presentation of case. Responsible for legal compliance with respect to disbursements and settlement funds. Effectively utilizes available technology to successfully perform the duties of the position. Must be willing to establish and build relationships with other professionals in the communities we serve to enhance our brand recognition, marketing efforts and client service. Travel is required. Skills and Qualifications: JD degree from an accredited college or university. NC State Bar membership required. Additional State Bar memberships (particularly South Carolina and/or Virginia) a plus. 1 to 5 years of experience handling NC personal injury cases.
