Job Description:
Clean Harbors is actively seeking an experienced OTR Class A
Owner Operator to join our transportation team. As a leader in
environmental and industrial services, we dedicate our efforts to
protecting the environment through responsible handling and
transportation of hazardous materials. This role demands a
commitment to safety, reliability, and compliance with
transportation regulations. Successful candidates will manage the
logistics of hazardous waste transportation projects, ensuring
efficient delivery while upholding the utmost safety and
environmental standards. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer
truck over the road to deliver hazardous and non-hazardous
material. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules compliant with
DOT regulation. Manage all transportation documentation, ensuring
accuracy and completeness. Conduct vehicle inspections and
maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. Report defects,
accidents, or violations and take appropriate measures to mitigate
risks. Handle emergency response scenarios with professionalism and
in accordance with company protocols. Uphold Clean Harbors'
standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. Proven expertise
in operating Class A vehicles Strong understanding of DOT
regulations and safety standards Ability to manage hazardous
materials safely Excellent logistical and route management skills
Good physical condition and stamina Effective communication and
documentation skills Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement Clean driving record
DOT medical card
