Job Description AIG is seeking a self-starting individual for the Service Support Advocate role within AIG's Warranty Business. The primary function of the Service Support Advocate is to monitor open repair work orders to ensure timely service completion with a secondary role of dispatch assistance at direction of management or as determined by volume and/or staffing needs. This position is located in Jeffersonville, IN - just one mile from downtown Louisville, KY. All employees are currently working from home with opportunities for that to continue. The job can only be performed in the state location(s) listed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Handle Inbound/Outbound calls related to open repair work orders with emphasis on timely, sensible resolution for both the business and the customer Dispatching and/or general service network support efforts Communicate in a clear, precise professional manner with all parties internal and external in order to ensure a quality customer service experience Identify trends that are either currently impacting customer service delivery or may do so in the future Instill customer confidence by delivering on promises such as call backs and/or delivering on agreed to action items Ability to handle potentially stressful calls or situations while maintaining a calm, professional presence Provide timely feedback and/or process improvement opportunities Parts research Position Requirements Ability to work from home Quiet, isolated home work space Internet Speed of 15 MPS Download/7 MPS Upload, or greater Customer service experience Research oriented Team oriented Microsoft skills Skilled communicator Education/Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous call center experience preferred Employment at AIG Warranty This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week.
