SUMMARYThe Quality Assurance/Security Escort provides support to
the United States Army Special Operations Command facilities
construction contract at Fort Bragg, NC. This position provides
daily quality assurance, safety inspections and security escort
services in support of construction projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and
responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily

Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance with all applicable
rules (federal, state, local, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Code
of Federal Regulations, Prime Contract requirements, etc.) for
themselves and the company as a whole. -Fosters an environment in
which they will report -any -violations or reasonably suspected
violation of CNI policy, FAR, and/or CFR and are comfortable
discussing the myriad compliance, conflict, FAR, CFR, etc. issues
that arise during the performance of a government contract.
Monitors and escorts un-cleared workers in restricted areas and
facilities at all times.
Maintains visual and auditory contact of all un-cleared visitors
under their control except instances that are determined by the
Project Manager.
Maintains close proximity to visitors to prevent the intentional or
unintentional disclosure of classified information, materials, or
equipment.
Detects and deters any covert attempt to obtain classified
information, material and equipment.
Remains alert and focused at all times while carrying out their
escort duties. Will not engage in any activities which will detract
from their responsibilities while on duty.
Alerts occupants in all offices and workspaces prior to permitting
an un-cleared worker/visitor to enter.
Inspects the construction activities and quality of work of
subcontractors. Oversees subcontracted workforce to ensure safe,
efficient, economical, quality and timely completion of
work.Understands and enforces company and federal safety policies
and procedures. Prepares and delivers safety briefings. Practices,
instructs and enforces all OSHA and DoD safety requirements /
guidelines. -
Takes all breaks, to include lunch, at the same time as the
escorted visitor for which the Contractor is responsible or
arranges for another fully cleared and approved Contractor
personnel to act as temporary relief.
Immediately notifies the Government Contracting Officer
Representative, Headquarters Security, or Project Manager of any
security policy, regulation, or any other practices which are
inconsistent with sound security procedures.
Reports to duty on time and acts in a professional manner at all
times.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available
and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job
description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to
maximize personal output. -
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and
orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will
report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate
supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe
conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one
(1) year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent
combination of education / experience. Experience in
facility/physical security, construction safety and practices, and
previous on-site escort experience is a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONMust have and maintain a valid
/ active DOD secret level government security clearanceU.S.
Citizens / Green Card only due to government or federal
requirementValid Driver's LicenseOSHA/DoD training/certifications
preferred
