Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation
utilizing the DHA for Cyber Workforce to recruit and appoint
qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About
the Position: This position is located at the SOTF in Fort Bragg,

Responsibilities Serves as an Information Technology (IT)
Specialist (SYSADMIN) with the organization, Signal Division. As an
IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), serves as a Senior Cloud System
Administrator. Oversee the implementation of cloud hosted
technologies to ensure information systems reliability and
accessibility. Provides advanced troubleshooting techniques for
noted deficiencies to identify and isolate sources and root causes.
Plans, schedules, and executes the installation and detailed
assessment of new or modified cloud services. Ensures monitoring
and notification services are used on all mission essential
information systems defined by ORGANIZATION IT management. Oversees
management of user access privileges, network rights and access to
cloud and on premise systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment

Experience assisting with the implementation of cloud hosted
technologies for information systems 2) Experience with identifying
and resolving IT technical issues.3) Experience planning and
executing the installation of new or modified cloud services such
as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).4) Managing user
access privileges, network rights and access to cloud and on
premise systems. And Attention to Detail - Is thorough when
performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

TERM NTE 3 years. Position may be filled as Term Appointment
Not-to-Exceed 3 years , if the candidate is not a current,
permanent Army Employee. A term appointment is a non-permanent
appointment expected to last longer than one year, and cannot be
made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled
as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 3 years by a
current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or
reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and
may be made permanent without further competition. Extension beyond
the 6 years: DOD, OSD Memorandum: Extensions of Term Appointments
in the Competitive Service in the DoD, dated 10 Aug 18 memo allows
for term appointments beyond 6 years up to 8 years to be made in
accordance with the authority granted in the 12 Jun 17 memo,
waiving the requirements of 5 CFR 316.301.
