Title: Eligibility Specialist
Pay: $15/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Job Description: Dynamic opportunity for an Eligibility Specialist in Florence, SC! This position collects and evaluates documentation from applicants to assist in determining individual and family eligibility for the program. Eligibility Specialists ensure the integrity of the program by completing all reviews, and eligibility changes in an accurate and timely manner. The goal is to ensure that all are completed accurately with satisfactory documentation.

The Eligibility Specialists are housed in a local center where you will have your own cubicle style work area after a period of training in a classroom style environment. This requires critical thinking and applying the training and skills that are taught during the classroom training to assist in making a determination. In some cases it will be necessary to speak with customers by phone to clarify information or to request additional information, but the center does not receive inbound phone calls.

The Eligibility Specialists should have a familiarity with computers, standard Microsoft Office software and should be able to perform basic mathematical computations. This position requires the ability to move between several systems and multiple screens daily. Proficiency with all processes, policies, procedures, and system updates with the ability to resolves discrepancies in a timely manner is key to success in this role. Though documentation is needed on each case, data entry is not a primary function of this role.

A monthly review of metrics/KPIs will be the standard protocol to ensure determinations are accurate and timely. Additional one on one coaching will be the primary source to deliver feedback regarding standards of excellence in metrics. Best in Class customer service includes detailed care with all cases, professional interactions with participants as well as confidentially with sensitive information.

This position pays $15 an hour and does offer benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
