Job Description:

Receives, stores, counts, issues, and transacts equipment, material, products, supplies tools and inventories in support of plant operation. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within plant or yard, by performing the following duties.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Perform daily counts of inventory/or reconciliation
• Monitors the placement of finished goods
• Provide a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain
• Performs physical inventories, as required
• Maintain a high level of Quality Assurance
• Performs various duties throughout the department in order to expedite pulling orders and shipping finished goods, maintaining quality standards and ensure efficiency
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
• Cleans immediate work area and ensures strict organization of all racks
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Operates reach truck and picker truck as needed.
• Back flush work orders -transfer
• Proficient use in scanner operations
• Inspect forklift and complete P.M. (Preventative Maintenance) Sheet
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
• Other duties as assignedEDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalentMANAGEMENT:No direct repotsREQUIREMENTS:o Must have three years related experienceo Must be familiar with Microsoft officeo Must havegood math skills.o Must have great communication skills.o Proficient math skillso Preference given to experience with Excel and/or QAD.o Must be able to use a staple gun and build crates.o Must have a forklift license.o Must be willing to work overtime with short notice.o Some weekend work may be requiredWatts is committed to equal employment opportunity.
