technical and research support to include configuration for the
storage area networks (SANs), secure networking solutions, and
day-to-day virtual server administration. Individual shall have a
demonstrated understanding of the concepts, principles, and
practices of Windows 2016/2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2017, VMware
ESXi 7.0, vSphere, and EMC SAN technologies. Individual must be
able to assist in development solutions to a variety of unusually
complex technical problems. Lockheed Martin is seeking a Logistics
Systems Analyst Sr Stf for a position in Fayetteville, NC. Duties
and responsibilities include: Produce a project plan listing the
shortcoming of existing systems/processes and a systematic,
incremental approach to overcoming those shortcomings by defining
the requirements. Provide guidance and support to integrate
business workflows between USASOC subordinate units' unique and
closed-circuit applications to ensure full data interoperability
across the USASOC enterprise that utilizes the processes.
Coordinate between supported units, supporting organizations and
the program managers of government off the shelf (GOTS) and
commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications for installation and
maintenance. Provide guidance and support for all USASOC
applications integration specific to the supported/supporting
unit's business processes. Lead or participate in team development
of web-enabled database driven applications; plan, analyze, design,
test, application solutions; communicate effectively in both
technical and non-technical terms; read, interpret and apply
technical data processing manuals and related documents; keep
current by reading; interpreting, and applying information
presented in trade journals, newspapers, and magazines; prepare
clear and concise written communications and make oral
presentations; research technical manuals and guides to respond to
questions; prioritize requests, organize, schedule, and coordinate
a variety of activities and projects. Assist staff in the analysis
and design of application software, specific to acquisition and
logistics, which assists in solving customer identified problems;
conduct application and software testing ensuring that the output
is appropriate and accurate; supervises, supports, and assists in
planning, analysis, design, testing of customized computer
applications; develops and coordinates project work plans,
timelines, and deliverables for each phase of a project plan;
coordinates with staff regarding customer documentation,
installation of the application, product implementation, and
assists in solving of any problems related to the output from the
application. Provide guidance and assists in the operation of
various computer production systems; coordinate with
unit/department staff to analyze and determine printed and magnetic
production output requirements; develop and implement operational
procedures which exceed baseline standards. Coordinate with
unit/department staff and serve as the liaison to assess software
that provides service and support for applications and coordinate
with staff and vendors regarding the installation and modification
to the software applications; ensuring security and access to
various features of the applications; researches and evaluates new
technologies in the applications area; consult with vendors as
needed to assist in solving applications issues. Basic
Qualifications: * CompTIA Security+ certification (SYS-601) -
Baseline * Server Virtualization - VMware ESXi 7.0- Computing
Environment - (CE) certification * Microsoft Certified Solutions
Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016 or newer - Computing
Environment (CE) certification * Extensive knowledge and working
experience with Microsoft SQL Server Must possess a demonstrated
mastery of the concepts, principles, and practices to perform
logistics systems analysis management support in a military setting
and have knowledge of standard military terminology, processes, and
data interchange systems. Extensive knowledge and working
experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Access to perform required
systems analysis on the Acquisition Logistical Management
System/Ordnance Management System, (ALMS/OMS) and a working
knowledge of the following existing applications to assist in
future interfacing options: * Financial Execution Module (FEM) *
Acquisition Program Management System (APMS) * Procurement Defense
Desktop (PD2) * Ability to act independently with little
supervision * Extensive communication skills required, both written
and oral * Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, manage and assess
electronic filing system * Excellent business management,
organization and administrative skills * Willingness to work
outside of normal 8-5 business hours as required. * Equivalent
experience/education combinations are permitted based on the
typical minimums required for this job which are 15 years of
related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related discipline
OR 13 years of related experience and a master's degree in a
