Pool Title POOL - Classroom Faculty Assistant (Lab Technician) (Part-Time) Pool Number S23-18 Announcement Summary
This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.

The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.

We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Duties
The successful candidate will:

Prepare instructional laboratory set-ups and dismantling of materials, equipment and supplies for student and staff use.

Assist with setup and breakdown of class and lab demonstrations and student projects requiring specialized equipment.

Test, clean and participate in routine maintenance of labs and equipment.

Clean up and organize tools and machines as needed.

Provide technical information and assistance to students and faculty.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma. Knowledge of basic record keeping and mathematic principles. Proper and safe use of equipment, materials and supplies. Cooperative attitude and ability to work with staff, faculty and students. Basic knowledge of lab and shop equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a college level course in the area of interest.
