Maintenance Technician#INDSNC Position
DescriptionRefuelMaintenance TechnicianMaintain the day-to-day
operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining all
equipment including laundry equipment, HVAC, cooking equipment,
coolers, etc. in Refuel Operating Company.This job was established
for the purpose/s of providing services with specific
responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs,
installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all equipment,
assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and
materials are available while working at locations.Areas of
Responsibility to Include (but not limited to):Responsible for the
maintenance/repair of laundry equipmentResponsible for the
completion of all maintenance services requests as
assigned.Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in
heating/air conditioning systems, cooking, and other store
equipment for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems
repair and/or replacement needs.Fabricates equipment parts for the
purpose of meeting specialty needs and/or replacing unavailable
parts.Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work
orders for the purposes of providing information for making
decisions, taking appropriate action and /or complying with
building and safety regulations.Inspects HVAC and cooler systems
and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans,
ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluation condition,
identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventative
maintenance.Installs heating and air conditioning equipment for the
purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded
capabilities.Maintains vehicle, tools, and equipment for the
purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating
condition.Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and
seminars as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering
information required to perform job functions.Performs routine and
preventative maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the
ongoing functioning of all store equipment.Prepare written
materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose
of documenting activities and/or conveying information.Repairs
heating, air conditioning, coolers, stoves, ovens, steam tables,
and other systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air
handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.). for the purposes of ensuring a
comfortable and safe work environment.Requests equipment and
supplies for the purpose of maintain inventory and ensuring
availability of items required to complete the necessary
installation and/or repair.Responsible for minor plumbing
stores.Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for
the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at
the job site.Work within expense limits established.Maintain
inventory controls for cost effective operations.Schedule and
complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".Responsible for
24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduledCarry cell phone
as required for on-call maintenanceMonitor and maintain all
locations as assigned.Responsible for alerting the stores Area
Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken
place or that may occur.Maintain a professional courteous manner
with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.Assure safety
standards are used which comply with all company, local, city,
state, and federal guidelines.Ensure compliance of all work related
activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.Follow
established company policies and those outline in Employee
Handbook.This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and or
10/20 pounds of force constantly.
