Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Maintenance ManagerSummary:The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance technicians and the maintenance work order system. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex electrical/mechanical problems, working "hands-on" with the technicians, and maintaining positive vendor and contractor relationships.Responsibilities:Oversee and Delegate to Maintenance TechniciansPrioritize work and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.Maintain the computerized maintenance work order system.Troubleshoot complex electrical/mechanical problems.Be present and on the floor working side by side with TechniciansCoach completed assignments from the Maintenance technicians Ensure training is executed for the techniciansDevelop an appropriate schedule ensuring coverage is always in place and taking into account all vacations and business needsKeep an accurate payroll for the departmentFunction as the Maintenance Manager when requiredEnsure adherence to the HACCP plan at all timesQualifications:Associates Degree in an applicable technical field or equivalent experience in a supervisor position.5+ years industrial maintenance experience.Previous supervision experience highly recommended.Specific technical knowledge (troubleshooting, maintenance, some programming) of boilers, air compressors, motors, and bearings.Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.Strong troubleshooting skills in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.Strong desire to work "hands-on" as this is a "plant floor" position.Wastewater experience preferred.
