Job Summary: -
Provide a safe, operating environment for Maintenance by directing
installation, maintenance and repair of machines, equipment, tools,
and utility systems in order to ensure continuous operation in
Further Processing (Ready to Eat) or (Ready to Cook) areas of the
plant.
Perform complex, non-repetitive, managerial duties which will
monitor department performance daily. Direct Supervisors and Lead
associates to ensure that all paperwork is distributed and being
filled out properly in a timely manner. Maintain a safe environment
to work in and to monitor all necessary procedures.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities
- - - - - Ability to train mechanics of maintenance of smaller
level, in order to improve its efficiency
- - - - - Ability to fit to electrical motors in its correct
voltage and phase, and to locate electrical problems in individual
motors and of three phases
- - - - - Ability to use all the necessary electrical tools of hand
and to improve the equipment and the instruments with
efficiency
- - - - - Ability to read and to interpret mechanical designs, to
reconstruct mechanical boxes and pumps, and to relocate and to
connect conduit strap
- - - - - Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and
written communication skills -
- - - - - Excellent attendance, personnel and safety record
- - - - - Knowledge of workplace safety rules -
- - - - - Prepare daily budget report for Cost Center
- - - - - Inspect daily releases from supply
- - - - - Oversee CMMS / SAP work order requests
- - - - - Track progress of open projects
- - - - - Work with external resources for maintenance and capital
solutions
- - - - - Attend daily meetings
- - - - - Perform weekly safety audits, equipment audits
- - - - - Attend KPI and Capital meetings
- - - - - Write CER's as required
- - - - - Manage capital projects as assigned
- - - - - Prepare KPI's
- - - - - Maintain budgets in assigned departments
- - - - - Build a team-based atmosphere
- - - - - Provide direction for SAP CMMS and the BOSS System
- - - - - Provide support to assigned production areas
- - - - - Complete walk around
- - - - - Track progress of open projects
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Plant production equipment and controls systems experience;
Knowledge on CER's, budget control, safety and food Safety; Must
have good teambuilding skill and understanding of leadership
requirements.
Education & Experience: -
Minimum of 5 years work experience or 7 years of related work
experience. Must have relevant experience with food production
equipment. Degree in a related field preferred, but not
required.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support Engineering department in execution of capital projects as
approved in your area of responsibility.
