Job DescriptionCACI has an immediate need for a Network/Telecom Technician to support a program in the Fayetteville, NC area.What You---ll Get to Do:The Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for all SOFTACS SDN Family of Systems (FoS), via telephone, email and/or on-site support in order to maintain 24/7 deployable status.--Provide--technical support on all equipment and material under the SOFTACS SDN program to all personnel supporting the SOFTACS SDN program.--Provide 24/7 on-site and telephonic support for CONUS and OCONUS Special Operations Forces Tactical Assured Connectivity Systems (SOFTACS).Provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support which includes, but is not limited to, Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organization---s level.Provide installation, operation and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel.Generate and maintain work orders and shipping/return of OCONUS and CONUS equipment requiring maintenance utilizing the COLTS program.Conduct bench testing of all components and apply appropriate equipment maintenance to identify system status before shipment and storage.Assist in research and development efforts, as requested, and modification of new and existing systems. Primary technician for satellite deployable nodes which service over 2000 different varieties of SOFTACS family of systems.Provide weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to our customers.Responsible for participating in promoting, improving, maintaining and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.Assist in the designs of networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages.Assist in voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliation---s.Help to ensure that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.Develop or assist in the development of standards for carrier service and equipment.Prepare or ensure that appropriate telecommunication documentation exists, including operational instructions.Serve as a liaison to users, departments and vendors by providing the assistance on all aspects of telecommunications services and systems used throughout the organization.Assist in all service/system upgrades while being a team player involving telecommunications and networking projects.Perform or assist in the analysis in determining business process improvements utilizing the telecommunication systems.Provide hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues.May research available and emerging voice, data and video communication technologies to recommend future implementations.Work closely with network administrators on communication and connectivity projects and maintenance.Use knowledge of current systems to promote beneficial capabilities and leverage use of the system's features.Install and test communication equipment.More About the Role:This job is contingent on the candidate being able to pass the physical requirements of CRC to be able to deploy into hazardous duty locations.You---ll Bring These Qualifications:Experience operating and configuring VSAT/Idirect,--integration, fielding, production, installation, test, evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C4ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment.Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches.In addition, the candidate should have knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN.Candidates must be able to pass CRC for potential deployments.Active Secret Clearance with ability to acquire and maintain Top Secret w/SCI clearance.Technical Training in DoD C4ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment.Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.-- Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Security +------ preferredWhat We Can Offer You:We---ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation---s highest priorities.For over 55 years, the principles of CACI---s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.Job LocationUS-Fayetteville-NC-FAYETTEVILLE--CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
