Job Description:
Lowe's Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Beef Shoppe
Manager Level V for our Wilmington, NC location. This role is
pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of meat quality and
customer service. The manager will oversee the day-to-day
operations of the Beef Shoppe, ensuring that the shop runs
smoothly, efficiently, and continues to offer a personalized,
engaging shopping experience for which Lowe's Foods is known. This
role requires a passion for the retail food industry, strong
leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both meat products
and customer service excellence. Manage the overall operation of
the Beef Shoppe department including product ordering, inventory
control, product handling, and display. Lead and develop a team of
butchers and staff, ensuring high standards of training,
performance, and customer interaction. Ensure compliance with all
food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
and organization within the department. Collaborate with store
management and other department heads to promote and execute
store-wide promotions and events. Monitor and analyze sales data to
make informed decisions about product range, promotions, and stock
management. Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve
issues, and enhance their shopping experience. Drive the marketing
of meat products through innovative strategies and local vendor
partnerships. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
Expert knowledge of meat products, including procurement,
processing, and proper storage techniques. Excellent customer
service and communication skills. Ability to maintain a clean and
organized work environment. Proficient in inventory management
software and point of sale systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Safety Certification (e.g.,
ServSafe Manager Certification). Butchery or meat processing
courses are highly advantageous.
