Job Description:
Southern Health Partners, a leader in providing customized
healthcare solutions to correctional facilities, is seeking a
dedicated Nursing Team Manager to oversee our nursing staff and
ensure top-notch healthcare delivery. This role requires a blend of
clinical expertise, management skills, and a passion for patient
care within a unique and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate
will bring innovative strategies to meet the healthcare needs of
our patients effectively and efficiently, aligning with our
commitment to quality and cost-effective healthcare practices.
Manage and supervise the nursing staff to ensure high standards of
patient care and safety. Develop and implement nursing policies and
procedures that comply with medical and legal regulations.
Coordinate patient care with other medical and administrative
professionals. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and
suggest improvements. Manage staffing, including hiring, training,
and performance evaluation of nursing staff. Prepare reports and
maintain records of nursing activities and outcomes. Administer
budgets and ensure the department operates within financial limits.
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in clinical
skills with a good understanding of healthcare regulations and
standards. Ability to handle stress and make critical decisions in
a dynamic environment. Medical Insurance Registered Nurse (RN)
license required. Certified Nurse Manager Leader (CNML)
certification preferred.
